Today I have a super late post for you with the twelve shades released by KBShimmer for Fall 2016. This is another stellar collection from KBShimmer with something for everyone and a fantastic range of colours and formulas.
Flake Me Home Tonight is a cool mint toned flake filled polish that ends up with a metallic, foil finish. Up close you can see each individual component but from far away, they blend together for this great effect. With a small amount of holo speckles, this polish is a blingy favourite from this collection. It was very smooth to apply, and dried smooth too. My swatches are just two thin coats and no topcoat.
Fright This Way is the Halloween contribution for the collection and it’s so nice. A traditional jelly glitter polish with a black squishy base, different sized purple glitters and a smattering of holo speckles. It was easy to apply and the glitter came out without issue, though it was a little patchy at first but built up nicely. My swatches are three coats and one coat of topcoat.
Grin And Gerbera It is a muted pink/magenta creme. Amazing formula as all the creme’s I’ve tried by KBShimmer, my swatch is just one coat and no topcoat. This is my kind of creme.
Little Boy Hue is a muted powder blue shade, pale, but still vibrant is that makes sense. Another stellar formula, my swatches are two thin coats and no topcoat.
Oh My Ganache is the polish in this collection I was most excited to wear. My swatches did not turn out as dark as all I have seen, I have no idea why, it could have been because the sun was attempting to disappear on me the day I wore it, either way the colour is nice, just not as dark as I expected it to be. This has a very strong linear holo effect and a warm shimmer in it. My swatches are two thin coats and no topcoat.
Orchidding Me is clearly a top favourite for many people from this collection. A vibrant orchid purple linear holographic with bright pink tones in it. It looks just as stunning as I thought it would. AMazing formula, just two thin coats and no topcoat for my swatches.
Poppy Kisses is a orange-toned red linear holographic with golden tones throughout. This was a really, really lovely shade and totally my style. My swatches show the polish with two thin coats and no topcoat.
Sage It Aint So is a super pretty creme-jelly style filled with delicate amounts of glitter in lavender, copper and speckles of holo. This is a gorgeous shade with sage being one of my favourite colours to wear around. My swatches are two coat and one coat of topcoat.
Sweet Devotion is another creme-jelly style glitter polish but not my favourite in the collection. It seems just like this particular style and colouring have already been done a million times over so although it’s a great formula, it’s just like a filler in the collection to me. My swatches are two coats and one coat of topcoat.
The Best Mum Ever is a really pretty perwinkle leaning violet creme filled with pink glassfleck flake shimmer. It is so beautiful and a really sweet shade. My swatches are two coats and one coat of topcoat.
Tiers Of Joy is my favourite of the creme-jelly glitter in this release. It remind me of Christmas, whether it’s the name or the colours, I’m not sure, but I love it. The base is an ivory creme and it contains soft golden, pink and lemon glitters. It’s a really lovely, soft combination of colours, and will be a glitter polish I’d love to wear frequently. My swatches show three thin coats and one coat of topcoat.
Turning Pointe is WOW! This is a soft apricot/pink coloured jelly based polish filled with silver holographic glitters. It is blindingly sparkly in the sun and flashes the most amazing array of colours. The best photos I took of this one were all out of focus, but darn, this is one sparkly polish. My swatches are two thin coats and no topcoat.
