Today’s post is to show of some random swatches of some Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish range. This type of polish is my absolute favourite of all the mainstreams and I rarely find one that I don’t like. I love everything about them for the most part including the formulas, wear time and the brushes. A good brush makes the world of difference in a polish for me!
I see a lot of discrepancy with people saying that they do not get good wear time with these polishes, and let’s not make mistakes here, Miracle Gel is NOT a gel. It’s a hybrid nail polish that comes with a topcoat that is designed to harden in sunlight, over time, making your manicure last longer than a regular nail polish. The good thing about it is you don’t need to use a lamp. I would suggest, if you don’t get good wear time with these polishes, to make sure you are applying thin coats, and make sure to wrap the free edge of your nails with both the polish coats and the topcoat. Anyway, let’s take a look at these swatches.
Get Mod is a traditional white creme. The formula on this wasn’t the best, needing three coats for me due to some streakiness. But this is the only Miracle Gel Product I have ever needed three coats for, and since it’s a white, I will let it slide this time.
Pretty Piggy is a cute coral shade, bright, but not too bright. I have swatched this one some time ago so it was nice to have another go at it. It’s a gorgeous shade and will be perfect for Summer. This was two thin coats.
Boho A Go Go is another favourite colour. In my photos it looks a little patchy, but it didn’t look like that off camera. Waaaaah! This was two thin coats of perfection.
Tipsy Gypsy is a bright fuschia shade. So lovely to wear and apply, I really enjoyed this one and have worn it around for quite a few days lately. This was two thin coats as well.
Lastely is a nude shade, Totem-Ly Yours. It is a brown lean to it which is so nice. I love nude creme’s probably the most to wear around these days, and can see myself getting a lot of wear with this one. This was again two thin coats.
Have you tried these polishes before? What do you think of them?
You can get your hands on Sally Hansen Miracle Gel from Priceline Pharmacies and many other retails stores around the country.
