Today I finally have the second part of my swatches to show you with Lilypad Lacquers new core colours. In total there are 30 new shades that have been permanently added to the line-up. I showed the first fifteen last week, you can check them out here if you missed that post. Today I have the remaining 15.
As with the previous post, these polishes are all holographic with the holo intensity varying between shades. All the formulas are amazing and carry lots of depth. All swatches are photographed without topcoat. It is recommended with these polishes, to remember to wear a base coat to protect your nails and prevent staining. I haven’t experienced any issue, however as we all have different nails, it’s best to be on the safe side.
Arabica is a deep, dark brown with strong linear holographic effect and what seems to me to be a red shimmer. My swatches are two thin coats.
Atomic Apple is a super bright lime green with golden tones and strong linear holographic effect. This one was sheerer and is three coats for my swatches.
Bohemian Gypsy is a cool pink shade, a touch duskier than my photos show but still very vibrant with strong holographic effect. My swatches are two coats of polish.
Close Encounter is a vibrant, rich red-toned purple. It picks up a lot of blue tones for me too from the strong rainbow in it. My swatches are two coats of polish.
Fanta-Sea is a really cool one! In the bottle, there’s no way it looks as orange as I thought it would. But once on it is super orange, loads of depth and great, strong holo rainbow. My swatches are two coats.
Hardcore is a very orange-toned red colour, super flattering and bright. My swatches show two coats of polish.
Lollipop is a vibrant light shade of pink with a bit of a looser holographic effect. My swatches show three coats of polish.
Mad Love is another orange toned red, however unlike Hardcore, this one leans mainly toward the red side and is amazing on! It has lots more depth than my photos show. My swatches are two coats of polish.
Mon Cheri is a muted crimson shade with a looser holographic effect. My swatches are two coats of polish.
Nero is so much more stunning than you see here. Unfortunately I had some pretty heavy cloud cover come over while I was photographing this making it appear lighter in my photos than it really is. It is much darker in person. My swatches show two coats of polish.
Sea-Quins is a bright light blue shade with green tones that my camera couldnt capture. It’s alomst a turquoise in real life. My swatches show three coats of polish.
Show Me The Money is a vibrant, deep kelly green shade. Just flipping beautiful and as you can imagine I am most pleased to add more greens like this to my collection. My swatches are two coats of polish.
Star Struck is a vibrant navy blue with violet tones. It is so beautiful on! My swatches show two coats of polish.
When Love Comes To Town is a bright true red shade. It sits right in the middle of perfection, not being too orange or crimson. My swatches show two coats.
The final polish added to the new core line is Wicked Ways. This is a brilliant purple with bright magenta tones and flecks. The holo is very strong also. My swatches show two coats.
Now I guess the hardest part is trying to establish which of the thirty you need! Good luck with that! I have so many favourite from this release it is hard for me to narrow down. Below is a photo of all the polishes together in there macros. The rainbow is so flipping beautiful.
All these shades are available now from Lilypad Lacquer who ship worldwide. I also believe some, if not all of these shades may be coming to their stockists. Make sure to check with your favourite stockist if they will be getting these in.
