Neon And Nail Foils Nail Art

July 14, 2016

Hey guys! Before I get into today’s post, a Harry Potter update! I have just finished number 4 and am addicted as heck! I’m going to try and get the next two watched tonight, stay tuned!

Today I have a quick nail art post using some nail foil from Born Pretty Store and a neon polish that just wouldn’t photograph right! I’m sure you all can feel my pain with that!

To create this look I used Floss Gloss Maliboob Job on my middle and pinkie fingers. It’s a super bright neon pink creme. A little patchy to apply, but the colour payoff is worth it.

On my pointer finger I’ve used Bettie Pain Polish Flight Of The Navigator for some sparkle, and the ring finger has Celestial Cosmetics Apocalypse, one of my favourite black cremes.

The nail foil I wanted a kind of ‘patchy’ look which is why I chose to use it with polish rather than gel, although I have heard that there is a topcoat out there that doesn’t affect foils. I think it’s Picture Polish revolution? But that was not the look I was going for here anyway. These foils from Born Pretty Store (item number 22390) have an opal-like holo look to them. They added loads of depth to my manicure. I patted it over my black polish while it was still tacky, and just a touch on the Floss Gloss.

I don’t really wear a lot of neon colours but this was a fun look to wear around. What do you think?
