As I threatened earlier, I’m back! This time I have two beautiful polishes from Powder Perfect to share with you. These are just the most elegant beauties around!
The thing I like about Powder Perfect, since my first experience with them quite a long time ago, is they set a really lovely framework for their brand and have stuck with it ever since, never faltering from the image they set themselves early on. These polishes fit right in with that.
First up I want to show you the beautiful inspiration image that was created for the owner, Jacinta to work with as I think she’s really done a great job with taking from this.
The first of the two is ‘Breathless Whisper’. This was a really hard polish to photograph and be able to show you all the pretty additions it has. ‘Breathless Whisper’ has a grey crelly style base that has a lavender tone to it giving it some warmth. Inside sits a generous amount of small iridescent pink and blue flakes. The flakes look amazing throughout the polish and really stand out. I can’t wait to see the sun come out here so I can really appreciate this polish that little bit more!
The formula is of a medium consistency but levels well. On the first coat, it appears quite sheer, but that’s just so you can build up the layers and be able to really see those flakes. For my swatch I applied three thin coats. The polish dries partially matte so you will need to add topcoat for shine and to bring out the flakes so they can play.
I did take a shot of the bottle as I really wanted you to be able to see the flakes. They’re there, I promise!
Next up is ‘Beguiling Presence’. This is my favourite of the two and has a romantic dusky rose coloured base that seems to lean more towards the nude side than true pink. It has a really strong holographic effect which I find gives the polish a nice silver cast over the pink. Throughout the polish are tiny bottle green flecks. The whole combination of all these components really do it for me here.
This polish again had a medium consistency and was easy to apply. It was surprisingly opaque and I only needed to thin coats for opacity. I also applied topcoat for my swatch. This is another one I cannot wait to see in the sun, the holo in there is really significant and I think it’s going to just glow out there! Come on sun!!
Both these polishes will be available exclusively from Color4Nails this coming Sunday the 5th June at 3pm pdt. You won’t find these anywhere else and they are a one-time run, so if you like them, get them in your hands!
