I’m back again today as I have decided to share images of Lilypad Lacquer polishes releasing this coming weekend at Color4Nails. I wasn’t going to be sharing these on my blog, but here we are! They certainly deserve some limelight right?!
This post is purely to show the polishes and provide you with the makers description as well as how many coats I used for my swatches/formula etc. These polishes are all lovely, and quite frankly it would be a shame to not have them shared anywhere. This will be quite picture heavy, but worth getting your eyes filled with beauty! So here we go!
First up is the ‘Blush Collection‘. This is a release of four pink-toned polishes. The are cremes, but they are they squishy type of creme that has a gel-like appearance and depth. All my swatches of this collection show three thin coats of polish and no topcoat. The formula on all four of these is on the thinner side, but without issue of flooding. It just makes them have more depth and a more delicate nature.
Dollface has a slight lavender tone to it, described as a light magenta based creme.
Flirt is described as a light pink creme. It has a lovely ballerina feel to it.
Peachface is a light peach-toned pink, very flattering, and neither too pink nor too orange.
Lastly in this collection is Cheeky. The colour of a piglet’s squishy bottom with the very hint of warmth. A salmon pink creme.
Next up is the ‘Nudes & Neutrals‘ Collection. A series of six creme polishes in neutrals to compliment every skin tone. All my swatches of this collection show two thin coats and no topcoat. The formula on all of these six polishes is smooth and easy to apply with no issues.
Buff is described as a beige toned nude creme. It sits on the warm side of the neutrals.
Cement is a slightly blue-toned grey creme, neither too warm, nor too cool.
Clay is a brown based nude that carries a slight lavender/pink hue to it. Very, very complimenting.
Haze is a dusky purple creme with slight grey tones. A purple, but muted enough and still ‘clean’ enough to be a neutral.
Macaroon is a lavender based creme. Paler and more greyed than Haze, but definitely not is the pastel zone either.
Shroom is described as a dirty khaki creme. It carries more nude than khaki, with ash undertones. (My personal favourite)
All of these polishes will be available from Color4Nails on Saturday 13th February at 4pm PDT.
*Extra disclaimer* I was sponsored to provide images of these polishes, any opinions and formula descriptions are my own and are not influenced by Color4Nails or Lilypad Lacquer in any way.
