Guest Post by Emily de Molly

If there’s one set of nails I could replace my own with, it’s those of Hayley, the owner of nail polish brand Emily de Molly. Not only does she have her own brand, she does amazing swatches and nail art of many other brands too because she just loves polish! I am honoured to have her here today! Make sure you go and check out her blog when you’re done for more amazing nail art!

Hi everyone, my name is Hayley and I run the new and yet somehow, poorly neglected blog Emily de Molly.
When Christine mentioned she was looking for guest bloggers, I of course put my hand up, who wouldn’t want to be featured on her blog, right?
Well, I finally got around to writing a post for you all, I hope you enjoy it.
Last week I had a birthday dinner to go to and I wanted to do something extra fun and bright for my mani. I started off with 2 coats of Presence by Pretty Serious. I know it’s a one coater but I did two anyway!
I then stamped in black with image plate LLA04 by Messy mansion.

Then, using some neon sheer tints that I mixed up, I did some lead lighting.
If you don’t know what the lead lighting technique is, you should check out this video by Messy Mansion.  I didn’t follow these steps exactly though, I just dabbed on my polishes randomly.
  • Polish can be purchased from – Pretty Serious
  • Coats to opacity – Two
  • Topcoat – 1 coat of Seche Vite
  • Would I buy again –  Yes

Would I buy again –  Yes

Until next time…..

Hayley! Thankyou so much for sending me this mani to show off on here! I love it! I need to get myself some custom tints I think!

Guys make sure you check Hayley out here!
