Today I have a little simple nail art look to show you using some polishes I recently acquired from Australian brand, Miss Ashleigh. They recently has a great sale and who can’t resist a sale?! I took the opportunity to grab a few polishes I had wanted to try including one of those shown today. The other was included as a pleasant surprise gift in my parcel.
The Devil Wears Nada is the nude polish I’ve worn here on my middle and ring fingers as the base. I love nudes and was excited to purchase this one and give it a try. The formula is incredibly smooth and opaque. I could have gotten away with one thicker coat, however I applied two thin coats.
The Grape Gatsby is a purple creme-jelly polish filled with different sized hex glitters in blue, pink and purple as well as having some holo glitter in there. It applied evenly and well, I used two coats on my index and pinkie fingers.
I had grapes on my mind when using these polishes so chose a purple/blue duo stamping polish from Hit The Bottle called Purple Reign and stamped some swirly design from Bundle Monster Secret Garden Collection plates, BM-703. They kind of look like grapes right?!
I love simple looks like these, and four days later, I’m still wearing this mani and I have to say, the polishes have all worn really well. I have some slight wear on The Grape Gatsby nails but nails with The Devil Wears Nada are still as fresh as the day I did them.
So that’s another brief post from me today. Unfortunately you may find my posting becoming a little slower and not as regular although I will be trying to continue at least three times a week. While I still love my nail polish immensely and I will still be working with some of Australia’s very best brands for now, and they will have my dedication, I’ll be able to have the time to focus on all the other things and people I love. My family are needing me a little more at the moment and I’m really attempting to focus on my nail business a bit more. If you’d like to see updates and gel nail creations I invite you to come check out Serenity Nail Spa on Instagram and Facebook.
