Sayuri Nail Lacquer Mani Fizzies and Crystal Scrub

April 26, 2015

I’m back again today to show you two new pampering treats from Sayuri Nail Lacquer. Just in time for Mother’s Day, and proving that anytime is a good time to spoil yourself, Sayuri have produced these two products which will be released Monday 27th April 2015. I’m a bit excited by these, particularly the Mani Fizzies, as they are the first in Australia by an artisan brand I believe.

So let’s pretend we’re going to sit down, put on your favourite TV Show and have a little pamper session….

MANI FIZZIES

I was sent the Sayuri Mani Fizzies in Jellybean scent to try. They are really quite simple to use, and the moisturizing effect from them is really lovely. They are effectively a ‘bomb’ and you are not limited to just using them for your hands. You could pop them in a tub for a relaxing pedicure, you could even pop them in the bath for an all-over moisturizing effect. This would be awesome mid-winter, as I dont know about you, but for me the cold, dry air really can make my skin turn to sand paper.

They are the cutest little stars, and fizz up quite nicely. And ‘surprise’!, these ones contain cute little glitter stars that fizz out as they dissolve, making for a very pretty visual sensation. The scent is absolutely delicious, and even my kids guessed straight away what it was.

To use, just pop one into a bowl of water, allow it to dissolve, then rest your hands in the water. The label says 10-15 minutes of soak time. I however, don’t soak my hands for any longer than five minutes as you really don’t want your nails to absorb too much moisture. Feet can hang out in there a little longer.

For those of you who may have peeling, weak or brittle nails, don’t keep your hands in the liquid for longer than five minutes. Be gentle when drying them, and also, if you can, keep your nail strengthener on your nails whilst doing the treatment.

Gently massage the remaining oil residue into your skin to receive the full benefits of the Fizzie. The oils are, I found very light and non-greasy.

Here is a dodgy little video to show the fizz in action.

CRYSTAL SCRUB

I was sent the Strawberry scented crystal scrub to try. This is a sugar based scrub designed to add oils and exfoliate the skin of your hands. Again this product is not limited to just hand use. Massage it into your feet, or as I did last night, my whole body!

To use, apply a small amount to wet skin and gently massage it in until the sugar crystals have dissolved. The scrub contains little balls of nourishing jojoba oil which burst on your skin delivering this potent oil right where you need it. I adored the smell of this one, although labelled strawberry, it has a gentle sweetness that made me dream of Pink Lemonade.

I didn’t find the oil residue to be overly heavy. It was quite light and moisturizing.

Both products come well-sealed in little jars. Be sure to store them in a cool, dry location for a longer shelf-life.

You’ll receive a total of seven Mani Fizzies in your jar which also come with a full list of ingredients and directions. This will retail for $11.95 AUD.

The Crystal Scrub comes in a 200g pot , again with directions and a list of ingredients. Also, $11.95 AUD.

Both these products will be available from Sayuri Nail Lacquer, along with their newest release, The Mesozoic Collection, Monday 27th April 2015.

I think these will make a lovely gift for someone special, or even for yourself. We all deserve a little pamper time occasionally right?

  • They both sound amazing, Christine, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to wait for a while. I’m flat b roke at the moment (been doing to much retail therapy), but I’m definitely going to change my treatment program and go with something that will protect my nails as they grow as well as nourishing them and helping them to grow thick and strong. Thanks for all your help and advice. You are an angel, and so encouraging. Hopefully it won’t be too long before I can start doing my nail art/swatches again.
