Rainbow Honey and Delush Polish Swatches

October 25, 2014

Hi guys! Happy weekend to you all. What are you up to?We’re expecting the weather to get really hot here (Brisbane) this weekend so we’re getting lots of little jobs done around the house. My exciting job of the weekend is planting new flowers in my ‘photo garden’, since it’s been overtaken by yellow flowers (have you noticed the obscene quantity of yellow flowers in my posts?). I’m also building a special little spot for photographing my duo/multi chromes, so that should be fun and productive right!

Onto todays post. I have two polishes sent to me for swatching and review by Sophie of Femme Fatale Cosmetics. They are both hard core glitter bombs, from the brands Delush Polish and Rainbow Honey.

Enchanted Gardens is a green jelly based polish absolutely packed with glitter of all kinds. It really represents a luscious garden full of flowers and magical things. It was super blingy on, and is probably a polish I’d like to wear as a feature nail or two due to the extreme bling when on all my nails.

I applied three thin dabbled coats for my swatches and one coat of top coat. The polish was relatively easy for a glitter polish. Care should be taken with glitter bombs like these to achieve an even look. The glitters came out of the bottle super efficiently, no fishing has ever been required of me with a Delush Polish.

Enchanted Gardens is available now from Femme Fatale Cosmetics who have a huge range of Delush Polish and they offer worldwide shipping at excellent rates.

Changling Queen by Rainbow Honey is another super packed glitter, this time in a clear base which makes it versatile for layering. I layered two dabbed coats over a pastel green base. I think it would also look amazing overΒ a clean white base.

Changling Queen has these awesome huge black dots which surprised me by practically jumping out of the bottle onto my nails. These rest of the glitter is a very complimentary mix of green, turquoise and blue with tiny black micro glitters and little black strips. I really think this is a very retro mix.

Unfortunately Changling Queen is now sold out at Femme Fatale Cosmetics. However they do have a lovely range of Rainbow Honey products which will be the last stock available for quite a while due to shipping issues. So if you’ve been ogling some Rainbow Honey, now is the time to snap it up.

There we go. Two, I think, lovely polishes just perfect for our current warm Spring weather.

I hope whatever you get up to this weekend it involves lots of laughs, love and good memories.

Chris xx
