Today I have a fantastic trio of polishes to share with you. Created by Celestial Cosmetics for exclusive sale at Singaporean stockist, Mei Mei’s Signatures, I introduce to you the Starry, Starry Night In Singapore Trio. Each polish is inspired by, and named after stars that can be seen in the southern skies of Singapore. What wonderful, inspirational imagery to create this trio based on the stars, and so fitting for Celestial too. A match made in the heavens I’d say 😉
Alnair is a coffee coloured holo, highlighted with golden flakies that is really quite luxurious on. I can imagine this being so complimentary for so many people.
For my swatches I applied two coats and one coat of Celestial’s Solar Ray topcoat. I did note that the golden flakies really stuck to my nails on removal, so note for the future, remove using the foil method. As with all Celestial’s polishes lately, this one is amazingly pigmented and a breeze to apply.
Peacock star is a really tricky polish. It looks absolutely stunning in the bottle, unfortunately it didn’t translate to my nails so well. It still looked beautiful, maybe I did something wrong, I’m not sure. The base multichrome is my absolute favourite part of this polish. In a blackened base we have a blue/purple/teal shimmer and floating within is beautiful glinting red and blue iridescence.
For my swatches I applied three thin coats and one coat of Gloss’n’Sparkle’s The Shining. Peacock Star was an easy polish to use, just be sure to dry well in between coats to avoid drag.
Fomalhaut is my hands down favourite from this trio. A coral red linear holographic polish that is so stunning in it’s simplicity. It completely made me think about a tropical fruit salad…. Always with the food references.
For my swatches I applied two easy, thin coats and photographed it with no topcoat. It was an amazing polish both to use and to wear.
The Starry, Starry Night In Singapore Trio is ONLY available for purchase from Mei Mei’s Signatures with worldwide shipping available. These polishes are available now, either as single items or as a trio.
Have a great weekend guys
