Glittering Elements Alice In Hololand Trio

June 10, 2014

Tonight I am finally able to share with you a trio that was released by Glittering Elements a little while back, The Alice In Hololand Trio. This trio was a collaboration event between Glittering Elements creator, Casey, and European nail blogger Schette. The trio consists of three creamy pastel holo’s that are whimsical and paint a vivid picture of the elaborate colour scheme in Alice’s magical filled world.

This bright pastel blue holo crΓ¨me is exactly the colour I imagine Alice’s dress to be. Pure perfection in the way this polish has been executed. I’m not sure if I’m correct, but there also appears to be a golden glassfleck shimmer in there. Either way, the polish highlights on the nail beautifully. I applied two coats for my swatches with no topcoat added.

A stunning rich purple crΓ¨me with added holo. This was pretty much a one coater, you definitely could get away with only one coat, it’s just so pigment rich. I love when I get polishes like this, not only does it make my life easy, but when you want a splash of colour in a hurry, it’s the perfect solution. Again, I applied two coats and no topcoat.

A rich, bright pink, that actually looks more red in the bottle, appears to have a pink glassfleck through it along with the traditional Glittering Elements holo-goodness. I would have liked to see this present a little more crimson on the nail to match my personal impression of Queen Of Hearts, but besides that, the brightness of this pink is amazing. Again my swatches show two coats, no topcoat.

There we have it. A brilliantly executed trio, and a successful collaboration I think. Being the polish enthusiasts both Casey and Schette are, I’d love to see what else they come up with together.

As always, the quality of Glittering Elements is outstanding. You can see that by the clean lines I get in my swatches of these polishes. They simply go exactly where you need them to, smoothly and efficiently. And it’s not just these three, every polish I’ve tried from Glittering Elements this year has had the same amazing formula. For this reason, this brand is excellent for any level of polish user and a wonderful way to make your talons look spiffy with no fuss.

Glittering Elements is available from their Etsy Store, but the place to be is their Facebook page, where, shhh, I hear something special might be coming up soon.
