Hello to you all!
In December I made my ‘new years blog-olutions’, one of which was to try ALL the Australian Indie Brands before this year is out. As usual I’ve begun in fine style, firstly by purchasing my first five Alanna Renee Cosmetics polishes at her Boxing Day Sale. I picked a couple I recognized as classics, and a couple more that simply, ‘called to me’.
Today I want to show you my first Alanna Renee Cosmetics Polish.
This beauty is called Lenny.
This polish is a luxurious white jelly base with matte red and blue hex glitters (a couple of different shades of each). It glides on easily and smoothly. Also to juxtapose the small glitters are some big, fat round black glitters. These give Lenny a little bit of oomph and it looks great! Those big glitters came out of the bottle for me with absolutely no problem. Mind you, I sat the bottle upside down for about 20 minutes prior to use, and then in-between coats. In fact, I had too many black dots, and had to put some back, because my little nails couldn’t cope 🙂
For these pictures I did three thin coats, and one coat of Peita’s Polish, Quick! Gloss Me Up! The polish dried relatively quickly, I think because I preferred thinner coats. The brush was divine to use…Love that brush! And as usual with Australian indies, the formula was very high quality. All these photo’s were taken in in-direct sunlight outdoors.
I am so happy I bought some of these, and I can’t wait to show you the others I purchased another day. Alanna Renee, yet another fan right here!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great night.
