This week on The Australian Indie Polish Appreciation Society the theme we were given was, “Show us your most recent purchase”. Well this week, there were quite a few that arrived since I had been scaling through blog sales to acquire discontinued polishes from several brands. The most recent purchases that arrived for me, two days ago, was my package from Powder Perfect, which along with review items, were two purchases, Kevin and Midnight Planning. I already know how stunning Kevin is from seeing other beautiful swatches, so I decided to try Powder Perfect’s new creation, Midnight Planning.
This stunning polish is a dark purple jelly, packed with a intense array of glitters. We can see purple and holo dots, large and small, as well as tiny holographic flecks, and blue hexes.
No need to fish out any of the glitters, this glitter bomb applied like a dream, when dabbled on the nail. For these swatches I used two dabbled coats. I did use the brush to quickly spread some of the glitters around the nail on one occasion, as so many came out of the bottle. Surprisingly, the large holo dots came out with ease, and I had to put some back, because my tiny nails couldn’t handle all the awesome-ness! Being a jelly my goal was to mattify this, I just love mattifed jellies! I used a matte top coat from Pretty Pots Polish, it’s one of my favourites.
This polish has to be one of my favourite glitters now. I am so glad I bought it!
What do you think?
Thanks for reading and looking.
